The Blue Jackets had a mixed start to the season. They were able to win the first game of the season against Detroit with a score of 3-2. The second game was a loss for them as they were beaten by Carolina. However, Columbus had a dominant performance against Colorado as they won with a score of 5-2. It seems that they have the potential for improvement this season. The Blue Jackets will aim to win this game since they will be facing the Lightning in the next game and that will be a very challenging encounter for them.
Florida Panthers Form
The Panthers have played only one game so far this season and it was not a good start for them. They lost 2-1 against Philadelphia and ended their winning streak of 5 wins in a row.
They will now look to get their first win of the year in this one, but it will not be easy as the Blue Jackets are showing some signs of progress. Florida was on the 14th spot in scoring last year at 2.99 goals per game and on the 18th spot in goals allowed at 2.96 goals per game. They played well in the first game and it will be interesting to see if they can show the same type of performance in this game.
The Panthers played well in the first game and they will aim to get the first of the season. On the other side, the Blue Jackets are one of the teams that are showing a lot of potentials so far this season.
