Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns, NFL AFC North Week 11. The Steelers want to keep fighting for the impossible. For now the team has a good winning streak without Ben Roethlisberger, but on the road things are not the best for them. After the hard news of Ben’s injury, the Steelers fell into a problematic situation. The Browns are a failure this season. The home team has nothing to lose and can not aspire to anything.
Pittsburgh Steelers: The road to good.
The Steelers have a positive record with five wins and only four losses after a difficult start to the season. In the first five weeks the Steelers won a single game at home against the Bengals 27-3. After that game the team suffered a defeat against the Ravens 23-26, but then won four consecutive weeks. The last victory was at home Cotnra Rams 17-12.
On the road the Steelers are scoring an average of 15.7 points per game, 23.7 rushes with 78.3 rush yads, 18.7 completed passes with 189.3 pass yards. On the road the record is 1-2, the first half the team is averaging 9 points. The steelers allow up to 24.7 points per game, 27.7 rushes with 99.7 rush yards.
Mason Rudolph 64.5% with 131 completed passes, 1330 yards, 11 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, 13 personal rushes for only 23 yards. 9 sacks for 59 lost yards, 93.0 overall rating. Rudolph still doesn’t have his first on the road.
Cleveland Browns: Season of failure.
The Browns know that this season is over for them. The team cannot do anything to recover from these horrible results. Three wins and six losses are one of the worst results in the whole season. At least the last game, last week, served to leave a losing streak of four consecutive weeks without winning. Last week the team won at home 19-16 against the Bills.
At home the Browns are scoring an average of 18.2 points per game, 23.5 rushes with 125.2 rush yads, 22.8 completed passes with 222.2 pass yards. The effectiveness is little playing at home, the first half the team is averaging 10.3 points. The Browns allow up to 27.8 points per game, 27.5 rushes with 116.8 rush yards.
Baker Mayfield says of him that he only cares about advertising and is no longer interested in professional football. It’s not too late to change, but Baker has to improve his game. 59.9% for 185 completed passes, 2201 yards, 9 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, 25 sacks with 200 lost yards.
