New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts, NFL Week 15. Last game of this week, the Saints are looking for one more victory to be the third team with more than ten NFC wins. In addition, the home team wants to declare itself as the official champion of the division. The Colts have no chance for this game, but the team can at least hurt the Saints at home. Indianapolis hasn’t done anything right this season.
New Orleans Saints: We’re close.
The Saints have a positive record with ten wins and only three losses this season. Last week the team suffered the third loss of the season against the San Francisco 49ers 46-48. That game was one of the best of the fourteenth week. After this game the Saints will travel to Tennessee to play against the Titans.
At home the Saints are scoring an average of 27.6 points per game, 23.4 rushes with 114.3 yards, 29.9 completed passes with 305.1 pass yards. The defense allows up to 25.1 points per game, 23.3 rushes with 112.1 rush yards, 20.9 completed passes with 222.7 pass yards.
Drew Brees with another spectacular season. So far 73.57% for 206 completed passes, 2140 yards, 17 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, 109.5 overall rating, 5 personal rushes for a single touchdown. The defense has protected Brees well this season with only 9 sacks for a loss of only 65 yards.
Indianapolis Colts: Without a future.
The Colts are going to close the season with a negative record, so far 6-7-0 and probably another loss is added today against the Saints. On the road the record is also negative with 2-4-0. The last three games on the road were defeats against Steelers 24-26, Texans 17-20 and Buccaneers 35-38. The only two victories on the road were against Titans and Chiefs over a month ago.
On the road the Colts are scoring an average of 23 points per game, 33.7 rushes with 155 rush yards, 18.7 completed passes with 166.3 pass yards. The defense allows up to 24 points, 22.7 rushes with 91.3 rush yards, 24.3 completed passes for 277.3 pass yards.
Dak Prescott is not even the shadow of last season. 65.51% for 340 completed passes, 4334 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, 99.3 rating overall. 48 personal rushes for only 3 touchdowns with 235 yards. Prescott numbers are not so bad, the problem is generally offensive in the team.
