The Red Wolves have 3 wins and 2 losses, they did not play the sixth week to rest. The two games at home were relatively easy, the first against Southeast Missouri State 48-21, and the second game at home was against UNLV 27-20. At home they are defending well, but the two defeats were on the road against teams of less difficulty. One of the defeats was a conference game, the last game of the regular season so far, they lost to Georgia Southern Eagles 21-28.
Justice Hansen is the offensive player of the Sun Belt conference, his effectiveness this year has been superior to previous games in past seasons. an average of 70% in the 5 games of this season, being the highest effectiveness against Georgia Southern with 76% for 38-50 completions but that did not help to win the game.
