The Hokies this season will not be the best team, but so far they have 20 wins and only five losses in the season. The record in the conference is bad but they have been held in the top five of the conference with 9-4. The last home loss against a conference rival was against Louisville 72-64. The second defeat in the conference was against Clemson 59-51 on the road. This season the Hokies had already lost to the Cavaliers 81-59 on the road.
At home the Hokies are scoring an average of 81.2 points per game at home, 28.38 fg points, 11.46 three pointres, 74.1% free throw shots and 18.85 assists. The defense is strong at home, 57.5 points per game, 19.85 fg points with 7.85 three pointers.
The ATS record is bad for the Hokies at home, so far 7-6-0, in the last five games the Hokies won four games but could barely complete a spread against Syracuse -7.0, the record in the last five is 1-4 and they are all conference rivals.
