Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks, Game 2 Eastern Conference Semifinals. The surprise of the first game of this second round was Miami’s victory. No one expected an underdog to beat the conference leader by more than ten points. But there is still a lot to play for, and the Bucks were lethal in the first round. For now, it only remains to take advantage of the good moment that Miami has against Milwaukee.
Miami Heat: We have the advantage.
The Heat won the first game of these semifinals 115-104. But the most curious thing is that during the beginning of the game, the Bucks won by more than ten points. It is still incomprehensible, but somehow the Miami Heat won three quarters to take the first victory of this round. For now the favorite is still Milwaukee and this second game will serve to prove it or not.
The team is scoring an average of 112 points per game in the postseason. 81.4 FG points, 12.8 three pointers, 80.8% free throw shots, 23.4 assists and 9.8 offensive rebounds. Miami Heat has the second-best defense in the playoffs allowing just 101.4 points per game, 79.2 FG points, and 12.8 three pointers.
Jimmy Butler led the Heat in Game 1 with 40 points, 2 assists, and 2 threes. Butler also leads the overall table alongside with Dragic with 23 points per game in the postseason. Herro and Adebayo are at 15 points per game and 84.2% free throw shots. The Miami bench in the playoffs is led by Nunn with 6.5 points per game.
Milwaukee Bucks: One loss is nothing.
The Bucks won the first quarter of the first game 40-29. But what happened next, that is the unanswered question. But some say the Bucks can’t take the pressure from Miami’s defense. Almost all of the Bucks players were below their postseason averages. From the bench the result was the same, lower numbers for all non-starters.
The offense is scoring an average of 114.2 points per game, 85.8 FG points, 15.8 three pointers, 68.1% free throw shots and 26.5 assists. Free throw weakness is a weak point for the Bucks this season. But it has not been used by other teams. Milwaukee allows up to 108.3 points per game, 87.8 FG points, and 14.5 three pointers.
Antetokounmpo during the first game could barely score 18 points. But, Giannis is averaging 28.5 in the playoffs this season. Khris Middleton had to become the leader in this second round. During the first game, Middleton was the top scorer for the Bucks with 28 points, 5 assists and 4 three pointers.
