Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets, Playoffs round 2 game 1. The big test for the Rockets begins on the road in the second phase of the playoffs. Against the Jazz everything was relatively easy, but now against the champion the story will be different. The good news is that the recent history against the Warriors is positive for the Rockets. The defending champions only have in mind to win at home to hurt the Rockets and thus avoid suffering with defeats on the road.
Houston Rockets: The dream is still alive.
The Rockets closed the series against the Jazz 4-1. The only defeat against the Jazz was on the road 91-107. The first three games of that series were solid victories, two of them at home for more than 10 points. Against the Warriors in the regular season the Rockets won 3 of 4 games. The last one was lost at home for only three points. Two victories on the road.

The ATS record in these playoffs is 1-1-0. In the second game on the road against the Jazz they were favorites with -1.5 points in the spread and lost the game. But in the first game the Rockets were underdogs with +2.0 and they won. Against the Warriors in the two games of the regular on the road the Rockets were always underdogs (+8.0 and +10.0).
Golden State Warriors: Walking to the title.
The Warriors are obviously looking for another title, but the round against the Clippers left uncovered defensive problems. It was believed that the Clippers were going to be easy. But the Warriors lost two of three games at home. That made clear the lack of concentration of the Warriors. The series finished in six games, the Warriors won most of the games on the road. The last game was lethal and Durant scored 50 points to advance to the next round.
The Warriors offense is the second best of the league this season with 117.7 points per game. At home the average is slightly higher with one more point. In the playoffs in this temproada are scoring 124.3 points per game, 42.67 FG points, 88.5% free throw shots, 13.33 three pointers and 31.00 assists. The ATS record is negative from the first round at home against the Clippers with 1-2-0. Against the Clippers they could barely complete -12.5 points in the spread during the first game. The Clippers managed to score up to 120+ points per game in the playoff round while playing at home. The recent history against the Rockets in the spread is 6-4-0 since 2018.
