Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers, game in Canada with high expectations for the Raptors, this season the team has played almost perfect at home. The Raptors opened the season with a winning streak and until a couple of days ago they had another winning streak that was stopped at home against the Nuggets. The 76ers have also started the season well, although it has not been easy for them to win on the road this season.
Toronto Raptors: At home we have power.
The Raptors have only three home losses this season, the last loss was against the Nuggets two days ago 103-106, that game was heavy from the start. The other two losses were almost a month ago against the Pelicans 110-126 and against the Pistons 104-106. The Raptors often lose at home after maintaining a winning streak, since against the Pelicans and Pistons lost after winning six games, almost all on the road. In the same way it happened against the Nuggets, eight wins half at home.
Last year they won three of four games against the 76ers. This year the first game against the 76ers was in Canada on October 30, the Raptors won 129-112.
20-5 overall for the Raptors, the new star Kawhi Leonard is scoring 25.6 points per game, his adaptation to the team has been perfect. Leonard averages 85.6% free throw in 19 games so far. Lowry 15 points per game, Siakam 14.8 and Danny Green with 10 points per game. Normal Powell will not be available for this game.
Philadelphia 76ers: Winning in Canada is never easy.
The 76ers have had no problems winning this season, but victories on the road have been insufficient with a 4-7-0 record, but the last four games were positive on the road with three wins against Nets, Hornets, and Heat. At the start of the season the 76ers suffered five losses in the team’s worst losing streak so far. With new additions to the team such as Jimmy Buttler, points per game have increased but are still not enough to win on the road.
Joel Embiid continues to lead the 76ers with 27 points per game and 79.70% free throws. Other players like Covington average 11.3 per game, Ben Simmons 15.5, Jimmy Butler 18.1 and JJ Reddick with 18.4. The 76ers are scoring only 111 points on the road, while the defense allows up to 117.1 points.
