This is the 7th and final game of the Eastern Conference semi-finals. This was a very interesting clash with both teams showing some character and desire. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how they will play in this final game.
Philadelphia 76ers Form
The 76ers had a great season this year so far. Moreover, they were the strongest defensive team in the regular part and their offensive firepower was among the best as well. Philadelphia avoided elimination as they earned the win at home in Game 6. But now the 76ers need to win away which is always hard for the visiting team.
On the offensive side of the game, the 76ers score an average of 110.4 points per game. Philadelphia is second in the league in rebounding with 49.2 boards a night. Also, they have an average of 25.2 assists by dishing out per game.
On the defensive side of the game, the 76ers concede an average of 106.9 points per contest.
Toronto Raptors Form
The Raptors had a good opportunity to finish off the 76ers in game 6. However, that did not happen as they were outplayed by a resurgent 76ers team. But, nothing is lost as they are playing at home in Toronto in this 7th game. If they make it, this will be their 2nd Conference final in their franchise history. And although the talks surrounding Kawhi Leonard are getting more intense than ever, he is still showing some world-class performances. In the last game, Leonard scored 29 points, 5 dimes and 12 rebounds in the loss.
On the offensive side of the game, the Raptors score an average of 104.6 points per game.
On the defensive side of the game, the Toronto concede an average of 96.5 points per game which is the best record in the playoffs so far.
Prediction
This will be an interesting game to watch. However, I think that Toronto will be the winners. The home team won 4 of the games in this semi-final and the Raptors are really strong north of the border.
Therefore, I will take Toronto to win this game and to progress in the finals.
