Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors, NBA West Conference Game. The number one visits the worst team of the season. The Lakers are still looking for victories, a few more and the playoffs will be safe for them. The team hasn’t lost a game for six consecutive dates. The Warriors have nothing more to do this season. Until next season fans will have to wait to see Thompson, Green and Curry together again.
Los Angeles Lakers: We come to win.
The Lakers record is the best in the West Conference with 44-12 so far. No losses in the last six games. On the road 23-5, the most recent victory was against the Nuggets 120-116. In the last ten games on the road the record is 8-2. Against the Warriors the team won in the first week of this month on the road 125-120. The Lakers were favorites -10 but could not cover the points.
On the road the team is scoring an average of 114.9 points per game, 42.89 FG points, 70.4% free throw shots, 11.46 three pointers, 45.32 rebounds, 25.29 assists, 14.36 turnovers. In the first half the Lakers are dangerous with 59.6 points on average.
The defense allows up to 109.6 points per game, 40 FG points, 75.7% free throw shots, 12,323 three pointers, 41.96 rebounds, 23.68 assists.
James is out for this game, Davis is listed as likely. Kyle Kuzma is the only one who is scoring about ten points after James and Davis with 12.5 points per game. Caldwell-Pope is scoring 9.6 points per game this season.
Golden State Warriors: Nothing is easy this season.
The worst record of the 12-46 overall season. Too many injured players, especially Curry and Thompson. But the Warriors should only think about the next season. For now the team can use some players to experiment and see who will be on the roster next season.
At home the Warriors are scoring an average of 107 points per game, 38.31 FG points, 82.8% free throw shots, 10.79 three pointers, 43.03 rebounds, 25.90 assists, 14.97 turnovers. Obviously this season the Warriors are not lethal in the third quarter.
The defense allows up to 114.7 points per game, 2 FG points, 13.52 FG points, 76.8% free throw shots, 46.03 rebounds and 26.24 assists.
D’Angelo Russell temporarily leads the Warriors with 23.6 points per game, Wiggins with 19.2 and Alec Burks with 16.1. Eric Paaschall is another player with good numbers this season, 48% FG points, 37.5% three pointers and 13.2 points per game.
