The Cubs won the first game thanks to the work of Jon Lester, it was an impeccable job against Ivan Nova (Pirates), but at the same time the Cubs defense made an incredible effort to not allow runs. Before this series the Cubs had already won easily against the Royals 2-1 on the road. In the last 10 games, the Cubs have reaped a total of 6 wins and only 4 losses.
Cole Hamels is the right one for this second game, and everyone knows the history of Hamels and how great it was with the Phillies, but since his departure from the Phillies, Hamels was not the same again. In the current season Hamels has only 2 victories with the Rangers, this will be his first game with the Cubs this season.
