The Phillies did not start the season well, as they lost the first game 1-4. Many of their fans were unhappy about the early performance, however, it seems that their luck has changed as the Phillies won their last six games in a row which placed them on the 2nd place in the National League East. The Phillies have outscored their foes by 4.44 runs per game during that nine-game stretch.

The Braves have have started the season well, yet they were demolished by the Cubs with a score of a 14-10, despite the fact that they had a 10-2 lead in the game. The disappointment is bigger since the Braves were leading 10-2 lead and a 10-5 lead heading to the bottom of the 8th, yet they have allowed nine runs in that inning which cost them the game.
On the offensive side of the game. Atlanta has been in a very good form as they are placed on the 3rd spot in scoring, putting up 5.86 runs per game, while also being placed at the 5th spot in hitting at .270 and 14th in homers with 16.
The Phillies did not started the season well, but they were quick to bounce back and tu turn around their season. On the other side, the Braves are a good offensive team and I think that they will give a hard time to Pivetta. However, I think the offensive firepower of the Phillies that has averaged 8.22 runs per game over their last nine games will prove to be a way to strong for the Braves. I go for the Phillies in this one.
