Therefore, it is safe to say that this is a very important game against a direct rival. The Cubs have won three of their last five games and they have gone 11-9 since the All-Star Break.
On the offensive side of the game, the Cubs score an average of 4.83 runs per game. Also, they are 9th in the league with 1.54 home runs per game. On the mound, they are placed on the 5th spot in the league in ERA at 4.02.
Prediction
The Cubs have been playing well lately and they will head into this game with winning momentum on their side. Moreover, the Brewers are not in a good form at the moment and it seems that they are falling behind in the race for a playoff spot. Therefore, I expect a win for the Cubs in this one.
