The Twins are heading into this game with a winning momentum on their side. Moreover, they have been dominant in the series against the Royals as they won all three games. Also, they managed to keep that strong form as they win the first game against the Braves. And now, this Minnesota has seven of their last eight games and they have their lead in the American League Central back up to four games over the Cleveland Indians.
The Twins are having a good season and there is a lot more to come from them in the playoffs.
On the offensive side of the game, the Twins are the 2nd best team in the league in scoring, putting up 5.78 runs per game. Also, they are placed on the 4th in hitting at .270 and 1st in homers with 219. On the mound, they are 6th in the league in ERA at 4.00. The Twins are ranking 5th in WHIP at 1.26 and 12th in K’s with 985.
Prediction
This will be an interesting game and both teams have a good chance to win the game. However, my pick here is the Twins as they have the 2nd best offence in the league. Also, they are in better form right now.
Therefore, I expect a win for Minnesota in this game.
