Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints, NFL week 4. The Saints return home after two weeks playing on the road. It has not been easy for the team these two weeks, the second was a defeat and the last won but with a lot of effort. The Cowboys don’t know what losing is, but playing in New Orleans won’t be easy. The Cowboys have a negative track record playing against the Saints.
Dallas Cowboys: We came to keep winning.
The Cowboys in three weeks won against Giants 35-17, Redskins 31-21 and last week against Dolphins 31-6. Two games at home and only one on the road in Washington. In all the last three games the Cowboys were favorites. The rivals were relatively easy. After this game against the Saints, the team will have to play against the Packers, Jets and Eagles.
This season the Cowboys are scoring an average of 32.3 points, 32.7 rushes with 179 rush yards. 23.3 completed passes with 302.3 pass yards. The second half is where the offense performs best with 17.4 points on average. The defense allows only 14.7 points, 19.3 rushes and 246 pass yards.
Dak Prescott is looking for glory this season. So far with good numbers, 74.47% with 70 completed passes, 920 yards, 9 touchdowns and only two interceptions. 11 rushes for a personal touchdown. The best game was against the Giants with four touchdown passes.
New Orleans Saints: At home against the star.
The Saints played the third week without Brees. But the team won a victory against the Seahawks 33-27. The first week was a victory against the Texans at home. The only defeat of the season was in the second week against the Rams 27-9 in Los Angeles. The hope is that Brees returns to play the rest of the season to go as far as last season.
The team has an average of 24 points per game, 21.3 rushes with 97.7 rush yards, 23.7 completed passes with 242 pass yards. Drew Brees the first two weeks could barely complete a game due to injury. Against the Texans, Brees completed 32-43 passes for 74.42% effectiveness. 370 yards and 2-1 TD / INT. The second week against the Rams the fear came true. Brees could not play after only two completed passes. Teddy Bridgewater will be available as starting qb for this game.
