Chicago Bears vs. Washington Redskins, Monday Night Football week 3. The home team is looking for its first victory this season. So far the last game at home was a 10-point loss against the Cowboys. Playing at home does not provide any advantage for the Redskins, so far this season seems to be the same as the previous one. The Bears on the other hand suffered a tough defeat in the first week of the season against the Packers.
Chicago Bears: We have the right staff.
The Bears seem to have the best players to win the conference and reach the superbowl. But things have not been as clear as they look for the team. At least the last game was a victory to recover the mood of the team in the season. The last victory was against the Broncos (Joe Flacco, our prediction) 16-14. Trubisky couldn’t do anything against the 3-10 Packers in the first week’s TNF.
This season the Bears are averaging up to 9.5 points per game, 22 rushes with 99.5 rush yards, 21 completed passes with 164 pass yards. The offense has been weak, the same has happened with the defense allowing up to 12 points per game, 23 rushes with 68.5 rush yards, 26.5 completed passes with 224 pass yards.
Mitchell Trubisky is still a favorite, but he still does not have the support of the offensive to win games. 348 yards, 58.33% with 42 completed passes. The most surprising of all is that Trubisky does not have Touchdown passes this season. But with an interception at home against the Packers.
Washington Redskins: Defeats hurt at home
The Redskins couldn’t do anything in the last game at home. The home team scored the first seven points of the game, but the Cowboys won the first half 14-7 and the game ended 21-31. The defense was a failure in the second half allowing 17 points. The first week the defeat was against the Eagles 27-32. The offensive has struggled to score points, but the defense cannot stop the other team.
This season the Redskins are scoring an average of 24 points per game, 15 rushes with 37.5 rush yards, 28 completed passes with 289 pass yards. The defense allows up to 31.5 points per game, 32.5 rushes with 168 rush yards, 27 completed passes with 287 pass yards.
Case Keenum with new team, good numbers but no victories so far. 69.1% with 56 completed passes, 601 yards, 5 touchdowns without interceptions, 111.2 rating. Keenum has always played well, but he always comes to teams with organizational problems to win. The same happened to Keenum with the Broncos.
