Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns, NFL week 16. Last week at home for the Browns, but with no chance of anything important. The only thing the Browns can do is try to close the season with a positive record at home, for now they have it for a victory. But it will be difficult to keep it as such against this rival. The Ravens have not lost a game for a long time, the team is looking to close the regular season with an almost perfect record.
Baltimore Ravens: No one stops us.
The Ravens so far are the dominant AFC with twelve wins and only two losses. The team has not lost a game since September 29 against the same opponent today, the Browns 25-40. That defeat against the Browns did not cause the Ravens a major problem, but criticism fell on the team. The team’s last victory was against the Jets 42-21 in week 12.
On the road the Ravens are scoring an average of 37.3 points per game, 36.7 rushes with 192 yards. 17.6 completed passes with 212 pass yards. The defense allows up to 16.9 points with 22.1 rushes and 89.6 yards, 20.3 completed passes for 204.1 pass yards. The offense is the number one of the season.
Lamar Jackson meeting all expectations this season. All doubts about Jackson are clear with 62.22% for 245 completed passes, 33 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, 2889 yards, 112.8 overall rating. Defensive number four this season has protected Jackson well with only 23 sacks for 106 lost yards.
Cleveland Browns: It’s almost impossible.
The Browns close another season with bad numbers. Apparently the Browns project is not going well. Two seasons without positive results seem to indicate that great changes are coming in the team. So far the Browns have a negative record with 6-8-0. But at home the team has maintained a positive record, 4 wins and only 3 losses. Four weeks without losing. The last home victory was against the Bengals 27-19.
At home the Browns are scoring an average of 23.1 points per game, 26.9 rushes with 128.3 rush yards, 20.4 completed passes with 226.4 pass yards. The defense allows up to 23 points, 25.3 rushes with 113.7 rush yards, 21.4 completed passes with 236.7 pass yards. The defense is number 17 of the season.
Baker Mayfield with good numbers but with many defeats. 60.13% for 285 completed passes, 3356 yards, 17 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, 78.7 overall rating. Mayfield has a good amount of pass yards and completed passes, but the Browns’ bad strategy has not helped Mayfield this year.
