The Cougars are also powerful at the conference and share the first place with Cincinnati at 14-2. The only two defeats in the conference were against Temple 69-73 and in the last game against Central Florida 64-69. The home record is 18-1.
At home the Cougars are scoring an average of 75.7 points per game, 26.21 FG points, 69.9% free throw shots, 8.53 three pointers and 14.37 assists. The defense allows up to 60.3 points per game, 20.53 FG points with 6.42 three pointers.
The ATS record is 11-7-1, against the conference rivals the record is 3-3 in the last games. The Cougars have been favorites during all home games this season. The average points are -14.4 in the spread this season.
SMU Mustangs: No future in the conference.
The Mustangs have a negative record in the conference with five wins and eleven defeats, the team shares the ninth place with Connecticut. The other problem of the Mustangs is the negative record in the season with 13-15. In the last five games on the road they were all defeats against conference rivals: Memphis, Wichita, Cincinnati, Temple, Central Florida. The record on the road is negative with just two wins in eight games, currently the team has six consecutive defeats.
