The NBA is back as the Milwaukee Bucks will clash with the Orlando Magic. Orlando took the opening game of the series as they knocked off Milwaukee 122-110 on Tuesday night to draw first blood in the series. And Milwaukee bounced back in Game 2 with a 111-96 victory on Thursday to square the series and give them a little momentum.
Milwaukee Bucks Form
The Bucks are a team that has a teal chance this season. Moreover, they managed to get back into this series as they won game 2. Also, the Bucks held a team under 100 points for the first time since the restart. Therefore, they will aim to build off of that going forward. Furthermore, their talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 28 points, 20 rebounds and five assists in the victory. The Bucks are a great team and there is more to come from them as they slowly regain their form.
On the offensive side of the game, the Bucks score an average of 110.5 points per game. And that is the 9th offensive record this season. Also, they have an average of 52 boards per game combined with 27 assists per night.
On the defensive side of the hardwood, they Bucks concede an average of 105 points per game. And that record is enough for the 6th spot in the NBA in scoring defence.
Orlando Magic Form
The Magic are a team that showed their potential in game one of this series. However, they were not able to adapt and adjust in Game 2 to end up getting beaten soundly. So Orlando will be aiming to bounce back in this game. On a positive note, they had the in-form Nikola Vucevic as their power forward scored 32 points in the loss in game 2. The Montenegrin international also had 10 rebounds in the loss.
On the offensive side of the game, the Magic score an average of 109 points per contest. And that is enough for the 10th spot in the league in scoring offence. Also, they have an average of 45 boards combined with 23.5 assists per night,
On the defensive side of the game, the Magic concede an average of 110.5 points per game. And that is the 9th defensive record in the NBA.
Prediction
The Magic won game one. But their offensive line was not at the needed level in game 2. Moreover, the Bucks are slowly gaining their form and managed to keep them under 100 in that game. Milwaukee has momentum heading into this game. And that should help them carry the way to a 2-1 series lead behind a big game from the Greek Freak.
