The Tennessee Titans will take on the the New York Giants for Week 16 of the NFL season.
The Giants are playing well as of late, averaging 30.7 points per game. After a slow start to the season, they’ve bounced back and are now on a 3-0 winning streak against the spread (ATS) as their offense finally begins to come alive. I expect this trend to continue as they battle against the unmotivated Titans.
The are coming off a division game to face Tennessee. In this year, they are 4-0 ATS in such situations. Although they started slow in the 1st half of the season, their performance in the 2nd half of the season has rejuvenated the New York fan base. The Giants are now 4-0 ATS in the 2nd half of the season, and they’re looking to finish the season off strong.
The Titans are 2-5 on the road while scoring only 16 points. This makes them one of the worst offensive road teams in the NFL. They do not have the firepower to match up with a hotter Giants team.
I expect the Giants to win and easily cover the -2.5 point spread even with Odell Beckham Jr. being questionable to play in the game.
My prediction: Take the New York Giants -5.5.
